About

Though the military required my family to move from place to place, music remained a constant part of my childhood, be it mom’s made-up songs or a sibling playing the piano. Around ten I decided playing piano and teaching music fit with my future hopes of marriage and children, so that’s what I did for college (piano performance). And then for masters to study it some more (piano pedagogy with performance certificate).

Somewhere along the way, I discovered a deep love for singing. What I viewed as job training became an underlying current of joy for my life, a place of understanding God’s solace and strength.

While my initial dreams of being a musician, wife, and mother came true, creating music spilled over from a job to every sphere of this wonderful thing called life.
