Ends and Beginnings

My journey with the fundraiser You, God’s Music 2026 has come to end! Very grateful for what we raised in Rounds 1 and 2. One of my most beloved professors once told me, simply entering a competition makes you better, no matter the outcome (I agree with this wholeheartedly if the competitor isn’t trying to prove their worth through it).

I haven’t done a fundraiser in forever! My chosen charity was for the scholarship fund at a bible based preschool, helping families in need of financial assistance attend the school. Will be dropping of the round 1 and 2 checks for them shortly!

For the funds raised for my music ministry, I’m putting it towards investing in more vocal training and also…adopted a new little friend! The kids I teach are already getting a kick out of a “guitar their size” XD (yes, in case you’re wondering, I do know it’s called a ukulele).

I recently took a gander around Guitar Center, and discovered my dream keyboard is ridiculously over priced (to boot, when I went to play it, one of the keys was sticking, so now I’ll have to do more research on what I’m shooting for).

Side quest story- after a dentist visit, knowing my children were occupied with the grandparents, I took a wander into some stores I haven’t been able to visit when the little tornadoes are with me. One store looked like it sold pianos. It really didn’t. But it had a recording studio! I got to talking with the producer and…I’ll finish this tale at a later time 🙂

Natalie Kristiana is a singing pianist by trade, wife, mom of two delightfully rambunctious ones, and sleep-lacker (Who needs that anyway?). Jesus is her everything.
